Custom site for a community toy drive, with registration, a drop-off map finder, and a built-in CMS.
About the project
Michelle's Toy Drive is a community toy drive held in loving memory of Michelle Walters. Local moms register for a free Christmas shopping experience where they choose gifts for their children, and the community donates the toys.
The site is a fully custom build: one page that walks visitors through the three ways to take part, with every date, drop-off location and piece of copy editable in a built-in CMS so the organizers can keep it current themselves.
What's on the site
- Mom registration through a Google Form that opens and closes by date
- A drop-off finder with a map of every location and an address or ZIP search that shows the nearest one
- Monetary donation details, including a button that opens a text message asking for the donation link, already written
- A contact form that delivers to the organizers' inbox, with spam protection
- Content managed in Keystatic and stored as files in the repository, with no database to run
- A statically generated homepage
